ABOUT THE OWNER

Alexis Armstrong

Whether I'm snapping pictures, editing photographs from a session or talkin' it up with clients old and new, my life absolutely revolves around my camera (and my family & music, too, of course).

Below are some photos that I really fell in love with as well as some pretty neat ways to check my background.  If you are interested with working together look over some of the projects I've been apart of and reach out!

A Singing Photographer?!

I got my start in graphic design way back in college where I started on a journalism track. It was there where I developed my song writing abilities.  I was in a few singing groups before fully evolving into a solo artist.  I loved writing but my passion lied in visual creation and photo manipulation.

I found out that I thrived behind the camera. But also on stage.  It's where I live and it's also what fuels my life. My sessions are always laid back, yet professional, filled with music and I'm ultra efficient when it comes to the business side of things, as well. I do everything in my power to get your pictures to you quickly and just the way you like them.

It's been a few years since I "went pro" and my life has taken a major turn for the amazing. Day in and day out, I spend my hours meeting with incredible clients, heading to gorgeous on-location sessions and then editing the pictures that we took. My favorite part, though? The reactions of my clients when they get their photographs. Knowing that I helped them preserve a moment in time -- for the rest of their lives and for future generations -- is a feeling that will never, ever get old.

I am a photographer because it's my number one passion in life. I also believe that having your photographs taken doesn't just begin with the click of a shutter button and end with prints. The overarching experience is just as important. If they are having fun, I'm having fun. And everyone who sees those pictures? It'll be super obvious we had an incredible time together. Those are the kinds of pictures families will want to hang on the wall. And those are the kinds of experiences that have earned me long time, loyal customers.

As for music, its something I can't escape if I tried.  Recently, I can be seen singing the National Anthem for the Aggie Basketball Mens and Women's team homegames in Greensboro, NC.  I released a single 'I Can't Let You Go' That is now on all Streaming platforms. Click to listen.
